Talking about the upcoming Batman movie The Brave and the Bold, Sneider alleged that Bill Skarsgård is the choice for portraying the role of Swamp Thing, and not Joker in the upcoming movie.

In their talks, the duo discussed the upcoming chapter of the DCU, titled Gods and Monsters. With director James Gunn and Peter Safran co-helming the universe together, it seems that Gunn wants to hire IT actor Bill Skarsgård for the role of Swamp Thing. Jeff Sneider opened the talk about the Pennywise actor and how he would be a good choice, according to James Gunn.
“Skarsgård was the face of a billion dollar franchise. Someone mentioned to me the possibility of Bill Skarsgård as Swamp Thing.”
This comes after the fact that Bill Skarsgård and director Andy Muschietti are set to reunite with rumors that the latter is rumored to direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
James Gunn Rumored To Hire Andy Muschietti For DCU
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Andy Muschietti has been rumored to helm the movie as its director. This could be a good thing if it were true since it would reunite the actor-director duo. Andy Muschietti worked with Bill Skarsgård on the sets of the 2017 movie It.
The director-actor duo was praised for their chemistry and how the movie came to be. Well, things could possibly turn out to be true since Skarsgård is indeed one of the finest actors out there. James Gunn does wish to improve upon the franchise and it seems that he is indeed taking the right steps necessary to make the reboot work.
There have currently been no developments or confirmed news regarding the movie. It seems that the movie will likely feature a partnership between Robin and Batman. The ongoing writer’s strike at the WGA will also likely impact the casting and the storyline of the movie, although there have been no comments so far.
