Jake Gyllenhaal To Be The New Batman in James Gunn’s DCU?

By allegedly firing Ben Affleck and definitely firing Henry Cavill, James Gunn has paved the way for actors to replace the veterans of the DCU with the skill set desired by Gunn and Safran. With rumors of slowly replacing DCU actors with those of Marvel, Jake Gyllenhaal seems to be in a good spot for the role of the troubled, batphobic vigilante.

In what can only be said as a humble request, the people have joined forces and stormed the social media accounts of the higher-ups at DC Studios and Warner Bros. Discovery and demanded justice. Justice for not hiring Jake Gyllenhaal to be the next Batman. Amongst tweets wanting to bring back Zack Snyder’s vision to the DCU, it was nice to see a little change in the fandom over some other news or topics.

Although DC fans have indeed pressurized the studio into forcefully releasing a hidden masterpiece (Zack Snyder’s Justice League), things could take a turn for the Everest actor if he gets hired by DC. Or it could all just be a diversion to bring in the real Batman… Idris Elba (kidding).

Fans of The Source Code actor seem to have it figured out since the people had already decided who Gyllenhaal was going to fight. With news that Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s Batman is situated differently from the DCU, it will be surely interesting to see who James Gunn has in mind for the role of DCU’s Bruce Wayne. More importantly, people wonder, is it going to be another Marvel star?
