Jackie Chan Vows To Donate His Earnings To Charity

Upon asking why his son will not inherit his fortune, the actor elaborated on his displeasure with his son Jaycee Chan, and how he has “no discipline” in addition to not knowing how to hold a respectful conversation. Chan told News Asia (via Vulture) that his son should make his future on his own.
“If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting mine.”
The 69-year-old actor told Forbes about his tough childhood, and how his childhood was spent in poverty, he could afford everything, but he would be giving away his fortune to the people in need so that he could see the bright smiles on their faces.

I would like to take this opportunity and say to Jaycee: you’ve done something wrong and you have to be responsible for the consequences. I’m your dad and I’ll always be with you. We will face the road ahead of us together.”
