Jamie Foxx is known well enough for his wit and charms. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Django Unchained actor shared the story of when he had Kevin Durant scared for his life after the former invited him to his basketball team party.

Recalling that incident and how he scared his fellow NBA player during the party he held for the whole Olympic basketball team, the 55-year-old actor said,

“I do what we call the ‘contrast parties’. There’s always a contrast. So I have the whole Olympic Basketball Team, but I had David Blaine show up and did magic, right? And, i don’t know if you’ve ever seen him, but he just- he just… ‘ya know look at that its right there…’ He was pulling stuff outta people’s faces and I was like, this is crazy. But, its something about black people and magic. If the magic is too good, we get scared. Cuz he did something and Kevin Durant went ‘Uh-uh, man, hold on.’ He said, ‘Man, that’s sorcery, that’s sorcery.'”

Going ahead Foxx even imitated Kevin Durant’s terrified reaction pacing around the room, which made Jimmy Kimmel and the entire audience hoot with laughter. But what’s funnier is that that wasn’t the only time the Oscar winner did the contrast.

Remembering Irving’s doubting reaction to the Mariachi band even after Foxx’s reassurance, the Oscar winner said,

“And while Kyrie’s still doubting, there’s Manny who comes to the top of the stairs, full regalia. He goes, ‘Guadalajara, Guadalajara!’ and the whole place went up in flames. Loved it, going crazy.”

And just like that, the Django Unchained actor pulled yet another crazy contrasting party that everyone loved. Classic Jamie Foxx!
