Further proving her ferocious personality is the incident the 38-year-old actress had to go through back in 2019 when she escaped a near-to-death accident due to the paparazzi.

A brilliant actress ever since the beginning, Scarlett Johansson has been crowned the most beautiful actress several times. But her beauty isn’t the only thing that made her such a renowned superstar – her outspoken personality to speak against sh*t she can’t tolerate played a remarkable part as well.

While no one likes a crowd of paparazzi chasing you to take millions of photos of you for that ‘one perfect shot’ to post on the internet, Johansson had all the more reason to hate the paparazzi due to her frightening encounter with it a few years back.

This dates back to April 2019 when the Oscar winner was heading back from the sets of Jimmy Kimmel Live! It was there that she found herself in a scary near-to-death run-in experience with the paparazzi, who had been following the vehicle in which she sat with two other people.

This, undoubtedly, made the then-34-year-old actress frightened. So, while she got to her destination safely, ScarJo couldn’t help but remark how she was chased in a ‘dangerous fashion’.

Scarlett Johansson Wants Paparazzi To Be Crowned Criminals

Recalling her scary encounter with the paparazzi and keeping her peers’ and fellow actors’ safety in consideration, Scarlett Johansson didn’t step back from calling the paparazzi ‘criminals’ for stalking celebrities. She said,

“Until paparazzi are considered by the law for the criminal stalkers they are, it’s just a waiting game before another person gets seriously injured or killed, like Princess Diana.”

While her encounter was genuinely alarming, paparazzi must take care of and respect celebrities’ personal choices and privacy as well.
