It’s been over a decade since Emily Blunt and John Krasinski walked down the aisle, and their beautiful bond is an anomaly among celebrity relationships, which often doesn’t tend to last long. But before founding their perfect match in each other, the two were involved in some high-profile relationships, but for Blunt, things didn’t end smoothly with her last partner before tying the knot with Krasinski.
Throughout the 3 years of Blunt’s relationship with Canadian singer Michael Bublé, the duo didn’t fail to make headlines on several occasions before eventually parting ways. Although the Oppenheimer Star has kept most things under wraps, she did once hint towards the matters that led to her eventual split-up.

“It’s harder when you’re the one emasculating [your boyfriend]. I’ve done that, and it doesn’t work. If someone is not fulfilled in what they do and you’re a successful girl, it will work against you,”
Reflecting on parting ways with Blunt, Michael Bublé was also pretty vocal about the entire thing, claiming it was pretty hard on him, blaming himself for the unfortunate events.
Michael Bublé Regrets Parting Ways With Emily Blunt
Speaking about his unfortunate split-up with the Hollywood A-lister, Michael Bublé blamed conflicting schedules as the major reason behind their breakup. However, the singer did admit that his behavior might’ve also contributed to it, claiming he was “cringey” and “a jerk”, showcasing his regrets on how things turned out. During an interview, the singer explained,
“In my business it’s tough to go out with another artist because you’re never together. You’re lucky if you can see the person once every two to three months, and with Em, she was on her movies and I was doing my thing so it made it more difficult.”
But despite their unfortunate split-up, it didn’t impact Blunt substantially, as not long after that, she bonded with John Krasinski and the rest is history.
