Star Wars is not just a franchise, it’s a journey – an emotion. With the more recent films like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, people have got the taste of a more modern approach to storytelling. But the original trilogy starring Harrison Ford is still pretty fresh in the hearts of fans.
With the talented Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight) appearing in The Force Awakens as an X-wing pilot Poe Dameron working for the resistance, he immediately caught the attention of fans and was appreciated for his portrayal of the character.
The Dune actor’s exemplary acting skills can be seen in X-Men: Apocalypse as he plays the very first mutant called ‘Apocalypse’ and then in the hit Disney+ series Moon Knight wherein he plays the role of a mentally troubled character with dissociative personality issues. He’s great at showing diversity in his roles and has been riding that tide ever since.
Oscar Isaac Goes To Harrison Ford For Advice
With the opportunity of working in a $10.3 Billion franchise in front of him, Oscar Isaac was pretty nervous at first. As the Star Wars franchise has a lot of complex elements that lead up to a larger story, a rather nervous Isaac went to talk with the highly experienced Harrison Ford for any valuable advice he had for him as the latter has had a great experience with the Millenium Falcon and also with real airplanes.
In an interview with Seth Meyers, he shared what he had asked –
“I had never done anything like that before. How did you do? I know you’re a great pilot.”
Ford’s reply was –
“It’s fake, and it’s in space.”
The Bright Road Ahead For Isaac
The Guatemalan actor has been ultra busy as he has a lot on his plate. He recently voiced Miguel O’Hara in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse who is also known as Spider-Man 2099 and is responsible for maintaining the canon events, at any cost!
With just 6 episodes of his Moon Knight, he showed audiences how capable he is and Marvel Studios just can’t wait to bring us the next season that will explore Jake Lockley – the third personality of Marc Spector who kills Arthur Harrow.
Furthermore, Oscar Isaac’s caliber isn’t supposed to go to waste and Marvel is well aware as the studio is reportedly making plans to include his Moon Knight in Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
For now, we have to wait for November 3 when his upcoming Dune 2 hits the theaters.
