On being asked what went wrong with her outside England, she said:

It’s all shades of wrong. I’ve definitely had a few I had one recently where I was rocketing along sunset boulevard wondering what this strange grinding metal against concrete sound was thinking surely it’s nothing to do with me right and then I pulled into a hotel in the valet guy was like lady you got a flat and I was like oh right that’s what it was

In another interview, Blunt talked about an instance that was hilarious and terrifying for her as she almost killed her co-star back then.

“I hear him going [quietly], ‘Brake. Brake. Brake,’” Blunt recalled of a scene that involved a tricky bit of stunt driving. (The pair did their own stunts on the film.) “‘Em, brake the car! Brake the car!’

And I left it too late and so drove us into a tree and I almost killed Tom Cruise,” Blunt finished.

However, it didn’t bother the duo as they closed the chapter by laughing off at that experience.
