During an interview with MTV all the way back in 2011, the Legally Blonde actress was talking about her experience working with Pattinson on their then-upcoming film Water For Elephants, where she also revealed that during their kissing scene, the Tenet star was suffering from cold, which made his nose a runny mess. What Makes Water For Elephants Worth Watching?
Adapted from a best-selling novel of the same name, Water For Elephants follows the story of Jacob, a young medical school dropout who runs away from his life and finds himself in a traveling circus. Here, he meets Marlena, who owns the circus along with her aggressive husband August, who admits Jacob on board seeing he’s a veterinarian.
As the movie progresses further, Jacob falls in love with Marlena, and the story does a tremendous job of depicting the budding chemistry between the two while not diving headfirst into melodrama thanks to Witherspoon’s character and her undying loyalty to her marriage. Along with that, the film is also a grounded and realistic depiction with no visual spectacles, just good old set designs, and exceptional performances by all the stars.
