It came as a shock to many when it was revealed that the actor did not audition for the role in the major franchise and was given a free pass to the lead role of the franchise. Moreover, he earned a very hefty sum and even had a $5,000,000 payday in his biggest non-Marvel movie, Jurassic World, the movie that made $1.6 billion at the global box office against a budget of $215 million.
Chris Pratt Was Heavily Paid for His Part in Jurassic World
American actor Chris Pratt is renowned for playing a variety of roles in both film and television. Pratt first gained notoriety for his role as Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation and enjoyed enormous success as Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy film series.

Pratt was reported to be paid somewhere around forty-five to fifty million dollars for his collective performance as the lead role and for the brief appearances in the MCU movies. The actor has starred in seven of the franchise movies and according to many reports, his overall takeout was much higher after his cut from the merchandise was taken into consideration.
