As he recalled the memory, Reeves revealed that he was in the presence of his nanny, Renata, while his sister was sleeping nearby.
“Renata, [our] nanny, is in the bedroom, my sister is asleep, she’s sitting over there, I’m hanging out,” Reeves said. “There was a doorway, and all of a sudden, this jacket comes waving through the doorway, this empty jacket — there’s no body, there’s no legs, it’s just there. And then it disappears.”
Reeves expressed that he did not feel fear in the presence of the apparition due to his young age at the time of the encounter.
