Talking about that scene, Kate Winslet and James Cameron recalled how they had to rush at a moment’s whim when the weather cleared. Recalling how they shot the scene, Winslet was practically shouting for James Cameron to shoot the scene unless the weather ruins it again.

“We had incredible luck with that sunset and literally we got up there for a rehearsel. At the last second, the clouds kind of parted” said James Cameron.

Kate Winslet further continued,

“And the sun was going down, it was a beautiful sky. So the sky that you see is the sky that we shot.”

James Cameron recalled that as soon as the clouds parted, Winslet sprinted into action and was calling for him to roll the camera.

“And this beautiful sunset started happening and Kate was up there and she was screaming down at us, you know? At the camera ‘shoot it, shoot it!’. Leo’s [DiCaprio] running up there and they came together and we had very little time to rehearse”

Winslet ended the talk on a sweet note by recalling that the scene…took her breath away. In other news, The Reader actress is quite similar to her character of Rose from Titanic as she slammed Hollywood for spending millions of dollars on promotion.

In an interview, Kate Winslet slammed Hollywood’s practice of spending millions of dollars in promoting a movie. Swearing explicitly, the actress stated that she does not like to wear those shiny dresses and considers it a waste of money.

“I love not getting into those f*cking dresses and those f*cking shoes. All the money. It’s always really pained me, the money that gets wasted on colossal, great big junkets: flying journalists, actors, glam squads all over the world. Why the hell is any of that important? If I cared what I looked like, I would have put makeup on right now.”

With a romantic love interest at heart, the Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet starrer is available to stream on Netflix in the U.S.
