Ben Affleck Gets Praised By A Real Robber
Ben Affleck’s The Town received a big amount of praise because of how wonderful the movie was. It was a film that had an intricate level of attention to detail and was able to pull off a bank robbery in the most accurate way possible. A confirmation of the same was ironically given by a former bank robber, Cain Vincent Dyer.
“It is absolutely on point.”
The robber even gave the film a solid 10 after seeing just how realistic the robbery had been. He started pointing out the things that Affleck kept in mind while making the film and focused on how even though things may not seem as accurate or realistic, they very much are. From changing the cars to the way they planned the robbery, everything was accurate. He also added as to how it is always better to loot a bank than to go for the armored car. That is because the trained personnel in banks would react much more leniently than how the security in an armored car would, who are trained to take lives in order to defend the money.

Ben Affleck’s Movie Got Tips From The Bank Robber
Cain Vincent Dyer did not stop with the praises. He added his own discretion and opinions about how he would have pulled off the robbery and things he would have done differently. He started sharing his own experiences, helping people understand just how planned bank heists can be.
“What I would do is I would find that make and model of the car that I had, and I would steal the license plate off an identical car. There are a lot of guys in crew that are out there that are like that.”
Dyer saw Ben Affleck’s film and could not help but add just how he would have done the robbery. He was interested in how well-executed the film was but saw that there was a way to make it much better.
