The interviewer brought up the subject of Rober Downey Jr.’s past as the actor had previously spoken before regarding the matter. The actor is seen taking a heavy inhale as the topic reaches his difficult relationship with his father and “the dark periods” that the actor went into.

“Taking drugs and drinking all of that. And I just wondered whether you think…you’re free of all of that? or whether that still-”

said the interviewer until he was cut off mid-sentence by Robert Downey Jr. The actor replied,

“I’m sorry, I really don’t…what are we doing? Right…bye”

The actor simply smiled and waved at the interviewer as he got up from his chair and made his way toward the exit. The presenter was left mumbling for words as they removed the mic from the actor’s vest and simply left with a hurtful remark for the presenter.

From 1996 to 2001, the actor was arrested multiple times for possessing and abusing cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. The actor presented before the judge that he had been taking drugs since he was eight years old as his father was also a drug abuser and had been giving it to him from such a young age.

Following years of rehab, the actor made a full recovery and returned to the big screen when he starred in The Singing Detective (2003) with the help of his dear friend Mel Gibson. Following his role as Tony Stark during the start of the MCU in Iron Man (2008), the actor once again found worldwide fame. Reaching ever higher and higher, the actor has been loved and adored by the public ever since.

After Tony Stark’s death in Avengers: Endgame (2019) there could indeed be a way to bring back Tony Stark but not in the way you would expect. The Marvel theory states the limits to which the people want Robert Downey Jr. to return to the big screens once again.
