Ahead of Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis’ The Prime Card match, the rivalry steamed to a new height as it sparked controversies following the personal backlashes between the two. The promotion of the boxing match went sideways as they went after the very personal level posting controversial photos and remarks on the internet.
As it begins, Danis has sparked controversy after posting pictures of Nina Agdal, Paul’s fiancee and Danish model, with another man in the past. Paul’s backfire, however, was a bit extreme as he passed comments about Danis’ mom, Nikki Danis.
Logan Paul’s Public Apology
As the Paul-Danis saga was on the rise, the YouTuber turned WWE superstar Logan Paul issued a public apology following his extreme comments on Dillon Danis’ mother. Attempting to explain revolting back at Danis, Paul said, “What do you want from me? You want me to be an angel?” Paul had insulted Danis’ mom, Nikki Danis calling her a prostitute.
“I didn’t wanna do that. Nikki, I’m sorry, I’m f*cking sorry. I swear to God I didn’t wanna do that. [You did it] And you’re right. You’re right. I did do it. And I did it because I was pushed to a line ‘cause my opponent crossed a line and I shouldn’t have stooped to his level. I shouldn’t. Nikki, I’m f*cking sorry. You raised a scumbag, you did. He’s a bad person. And he got me to a place where I didn’t wanna go,” Paul apologized.
The boxing pay-per-view match between Paul and Danis is to be held in Manchester, England on on October 14. And as the pre-match promotion has escalated the rivalry, it is expected to be a huge match.
Dillon Danis Allegedly Spread Rumor Against Logan Paul
The rising battle between Paul and Danis turned ugly, and the online feud prompted Danis to mark his prominence against Paul as he claimed that the WWE superstar had threatened him with a “cease-and-desist letter.” Paul, however, dismissed all the claims stating that Danis had spread just the rumors. “No. F*ck no. I even said that in the face-to-face,” Paul responded to the claim.
“He’s [Danis] like, ‘You sent a cease and desist.’ I said, ‘What does it say?’ He says, ‘I don’t know!’ I said, ‘Do you even know what a cease and desist is?’ He’s like, ‘I don’t know.’ I was like, ‘You’re just saying things? You’re making things up.’ Cease and desist for what? He lied about that. He lied about wanting to go eight, ten, twelve rounds, and he won’t do it. He lied about the bet, lied about me denying Olympic-level drug testing,” Paul said.
At this point, it is hard to tell how much further this Danis-Paul saga will extend as there is ample time to fire up even more ahead of the scheduled match, and the feud may escalate even further.
