Andrew Barth Feldman did a chemistry read with Jennifer Lawrence
Andrew Barth Feldman is a 21-year-old actor and student from Harvard University. The White Noise actor has worked before in movies like A Tourist’s Guide to Love and was also part of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Jennifer Lawrence said during an interview that the moment Barth Feldman left the room after his audition, she knew he was the best actor to play the role of Percy in the movie.
Even though the makers were quite impressed by the actor and singer, Barth Feldman was asked to do a chemistry read with Lawrence. The young actor recalled the moment he was doing the chemistry read with the Oscar-winning actress,
“One of the last things I did was a chemistry read with her. It was down to me and two other guys. And I was like, ‘I’m going to have to look Jennifer Lawrence in the eyes today and say, ‘Let’s f**k.’ That’s something that I have to do.”
Feldman made a lasting impression on the 32-year-old actress to the point where she personally called the actor to inform him that he was selected to play the part of Percy.

Andrew Barth Feldman had to put his semester on pause to film No Hard Feelings
After auditioning Barth Feldman for the lead role, JLaw was super surprised when the makers informed her that the 21-year-old actor was studying at Harvard University. During an interview, the Hunger Games actor said,
“I mean, when Andrew left his audition, the door closed and we all looked at each other and we were like, ‘That’s our, that’s Percy. Then they were like there’s one complication, he’s supposed to go to Harvard, and we were like, ‘Is that a joke?’ He was fully the character, so I called him and said, ‘Andrew, I have really bad news you’re not gonna be able to finish your semester at Harvard.’ He’s gonna have to defer, or whatever college school words are.”
Reportedly, the actor had to put a pause on his semester for the filming of the movie with the Red Sparrow actress. The young actor is receiving a lot of love and appreciation online and the movie is also expected to do a great collection at the box office.
