South African actress Charlize Theron is one of the fines examples of taking an explorative and dynamic approach for the majority of her roles in the industry, for which she’s also famous among the audience.

Thus, her co-star Seth Rogen was a little surprised when he found out that the actress was willing to go the distance by taking the lead during an intimate scene in their film, which made it visibly awkward.

The intricacies of making a film require even the minutest of details to be taken into consideration to truly make the environment for the audience to dive into and just lose themselves in the story. To That end, many stars are willing to put in more effort than they can to make the film a success, just like Charlize Theron, who wanted to do a scripted explicit scene with efficiency to the point that her enthusiasm made her male co-star Seth Rogen a little awkward.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Canadian actor talked about her experience working with the Atomic Blonde star, where he also talked about the intimate scene that happens in the film. Rogen recounts the experience, telling Kimmel about how Theron took over the situation by taking the lead and dictating how some of the things in the scene will go. He said:
“The joke is that we both orgasm in a very short amount of time. For me, it’s very believeable, but for her, she kept claiming it was possible. And you don’t wanna bring too much to these arguments becase who am I to tell her, her thing. I was like ‘Maybe I would be on the bottom first in a stituation like this’ and she was like ‘No! I am on the bottom, you’re on top, that’s how this goes down'”
While this might’ve been a new experience for Rogen to be led for a scene, the scene worked, and everyone loved the comedic output that the film had intended.

What Is Long Shot About?
While the idea behind the film’s narrative of a happy-go-lucky guy charms a woman whose ‘The Popular One,’ might be done before, Long Shot manages to bring it all in together with an unlikely comedic twist, only enhanced by the outstanding performance of both the stars. The film manages to jam-pack the run time with awkward encounters, and real-life parodies, while at the same time, developing the relationship of these characters in a romantic manner that feels both right and deserved.
