Having been married to Maria Shriver from 1986 to 2021, the couple shared four children together until calamity came. It was revealed that Schwarzenegger had another son named Joseph Baena. The son was born out of wedlock while the mother of the son (and Schwarzenegger’s partner) turned out to be their housekeeper Mildred Baena.

In an interview, the True Lies actor admitted that he regretted cheating on his wife every day and wished that it could all just go away. In a moment of realization, Schwarzenegger admitted that he was truly “not perfect”.

“I had others. I did feel bad about it. They were mistakes. This is my failure. My screw-ups. It’s something that’s between Maria and me. She knew. I’m not perfect.”

That was not all, however, as Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that during his rough childhood days, his father used to beat him. Citing the reason to be homophobia, the Twins actor shared the story of his childhood days.

Back when homophobia was prevalent among the people, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s father was no exception. According to the actor, his father used to beat him since he had a doubt that Arnold Schwarzenegger was gay.

“He ran after me with a belt and beat me. I don’t know if mum thought I was gay, or if she just thought there was something off. And ‘let’s catch it early’. She asked the doctor, ‘Can you help me? I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my son because his wall is full of naked men. All of Arnold’s friends have pictures of girls above their beds. And Arnold has no girls.'”

It wasn’t the case so since the Eraser actor confessed that he had dated many women during his days. Being 75 years of age, Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver divorced each other in 2021 with the couple sharing four children and Joseph Baena being born out of wedlock.
