Back in 2006, Eternals star Salma Hayek starred alongside Colin Farrell in the movie titled Ask the Dust. With the genre of the movie being that of a romance/drama, there were bound to be some love-making scenes between the two.
Well, the love-making scenes indeed took place but the scenes were quite uncomfortable for the pair. With a make-believe ocean set at low temperatures, Salma Hayek was quite furious at Colin Farrell when the actor tried to make jokes to calm the situation down!

With a make-believe ocean system, the temperatures were kept quite low for the actors to act in. Salma Hayek had a hard time being normal since she already suffered mild hypothermia while trying to shoot the scene.
In an interview with Radio Free, the actress recalled the conditions in which she and Colin Farrell had to shoot the scene. Stating that it was freezing and unbearable for the actress, Farrell tried to lighten her mood by cracking some jokes. Well, things did not go the way The Batman actor imagined they would.
“It was freezing. Freezing, unbearable, cold. And I got a little bit of hypothermia. They were really careful. We had to take special drinks that would keep our body heated. I mean, we had to prepare physically to do the scene because it was so cold.”
She further continued,
“I act comfortable, but I was not. And as a matter of fact, I was really nervous because this is not the one scene that I wanted to do, you know, and it was cold. So at one point, Colin came, started making jokes, and [I said], ‘I’m not in the mood right now! I’m really upset about this!’ I’m barking,”
The talk doesn’t end here, however. Salma Hayek recalled that Colin Farrell tried to cheer her up in the most unexpected ways possible. As per The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard actress, Farrell stripped down completely naked and danced outside his trailer to get a laugh out of her.

Colin Farrell eventually calmed Hayek down by dancing naked in front of the cast and crew of Ask the Dust. As per the actress, Farrell’s dance was so hilarious that she started laughing and went back to being comfortable and normal for the scene.
“And out he comes, butt-naked from the trailer, jumping and doing ballet dance. And I started laughing. It was the most ridiculous thing. Everybody started laughing. And he did it to relax me, because I was really tense.”
Ask the Dust went on to receive an average rating of 5.7/10 on IMDB but a low of 35% on Rotten Tomatoes. It did, however, gave the people a hilarious scene between Salma Hayek and Colin Farrell. Ask the Dust is available to rent on Apple TV+.
