Will Smith shared that while working on this film, he decided to perform his stunts without taking the help of stunt doubles. Nevertheless, after doing two action sequences himself, he regretted his decision, saying,

“I started [filming the movie], and I told myself that I was doing all of my stunts. Tom Cruise was just hanging on the side of an airplane at 50. I was like, ‘Man, I am better than Tom Cruise.’ I did like two stunts, and I was like ‘I’m not better than Tom Cruise.’”

Even if Smith can’t nail stunt work like Tom Cruise, the actor gives his best in all his projects.

The actor seemed thrilled to tell his millions of fans that he will soon be returning on the movie set with his co-star Martin Lawrence, as both are reprising their roles as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Miles Burnett, respectively. He said,

Yo, I’ve got an announcement. Y’all better stop scrolling. I wish I was you, not knowing what I’m about to show me. It’s about that time! Bad boys for life baby.”

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence made their character debut in the lucrative franchise starting with the original 1995 film Bad Boys. The actors reprised their roles in the follow-up sequels: Bad Boys II and Bad Boys for Life. The upcoming fourth installment is in the early stages of its production and will hit theaters in 2024.
