Jada Pinkett Smith may be very open about her relationship with Will Smith, but she is also one who is open to understanding where a lot of her husband’s habits come from. Both actors are unique in their own way and oftentimes do not find the best possible resolution in their marriage because of it. However, when they do, that is always a reason to rejoice.
One such incident happened to bring the actress to a realization that she could learn to live with a habit she otherwise could not tolerate as blatantly. Smith found her solace in none other than Magic Mike to understand her husband and his goofy side more and more. Had Channing Tatum not offered her the role, perhaps she would have never opened up to the idea of her husband being a child at heart.
Jada Pinkett Smith Found A New Outlook Towards Men Because Of Magic Mike XXL
Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that her being offered a role in Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike XXL led her to have a highly awakening time in her life. She elaborated on how she was immediately intrigued by the movie and how unique its concept was. Her role was as the owner of a male strip club.
“I did not miss one dance routine. I always found the best seat in the house. But I’ve got to be honest, I’m not a big fan of thongs – but it works in this.”
She even attended every single dance routine that her co-stars had regardless of her being involved in the scene or not. The experience was different for her because she got to witness a side of men that she could never understand properly, especially when it came to her husband, Will Smith. Their difference in attitude with and without their significant others being present was truly astounding for her.

Jada Pinkett Smith could never truly understand why Will Smith was always so goofy and playful around her until she saw the men on the set of Magic Mike XXL. She could see how open the guys were without their significant others being around.
“He’s a silly man all day long. He’s the guy who hides behind the door and jumps out. He’s that guy. All day. He’s just a big freaking kid. I always play the role of like, ‘Ok, you be the kid. Ok, that’s cute’”
Earlier she used to only tolerate his tactics rather than acknowledge them as such. However, her experience on the film set made her realize that the side he shows her is very precious and specific to Smith and only her alone.
