During the shooting of the movie, Anya Taylor-Joy revealed a unique talent that only she possesses. In an interview with The Guardian, The Witch actress described a scene where she had to go through a nosebleed during the ending. Well, Taylor-Joy surprised everyone when she revealed that she can perform a nosebleed on command!

“I’m like Liam Neeson in ‘Taken,’ in that I have a very particular set of skills that would render me useless anywhere else other than in the acting world.”

Before her nosebleed, there were multiple cameras set up all around her so that the nosebleed could be digitally added later. Director Autumn de Wilde was quite pleased with Taylor-Joy when she was able to conjure a nosebleed on command.

In an interview, Taylor-Joy talked about how difficult her childhood was. From relocating to England from Argentina, The Queen’s Gambit actress revealed that she used to get bullied often during her school years.

“I didn’t really feel like I fitted in anywhere. I was too English to be Argentine, too Argentine to be English, too American to be anything. The kids just didn’t understand me in any shape or form. I used to get locked in lockers.”

The actress further revealed that,

“I spent a lot of time in school crying in bathrooms; I was so lonely as a kid”

It seems that the hard years paid off since Anya Taylor-Joy currently sits at a net worth of $7 million. The actress has also a number of awards to her name such as the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards. The actress was last seen voicing the character of Princess Peach in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
