Hugh Jackman Rejects $100M Career-Ending Film

Hugh Jackman is one of the most respected actors in the industry not only because of his successful roles at the billion-dollar franchise but also because of how he overcame every possible obstacle and is still standing sky high. During an interview with The Daily Beast, when Hugh Jackman was asked if he turned down a role from an Oscar-winning director Tom Hopper, he replied without any second thought, “Umm…yep”. Although Jackman is particularly known for his exceptional skills in singing and dancing, he turned down the position of the lead role in a musical movie, Cats. The movie turned out to be a complete box-office failure as it could only gather $75.5 million after its release worldwide from a budget of $100 million. So rejecting the role turned out for the best for Jackman as it could have gravely injured his Hollywood career which he has built so far.

Following the latest announcement related to the third Deadpool movie, Marvel Studios have announced that they will be bringing back Hugh Jackman’s Logan aka Wolverine for potentially one last time. Although Logan has died within the franchise, MCU still found a way to make him appear in front of the screen and fans are particularly excited to experience it. The last time Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynold‘s Deadpool shared the same screen, things did not go so well for the team, but this time around there is already a ton of positive response for it.
