“We’ve just been doing a junket here in New York, so you get a lot of foreign journalists from Venezuela, Peru, and Japan and people talk about the show and how much they love it. And that is a completely unexpected occurrence for us. Nobody knew this would happen because the show had no advertising; it grew completely just by word of mouth. So I think we’re all really proud of it and delighted that the fans enjoy it so much.”
The first episode of Peaky Blinders was dropped on 12 September 2013. Over the course of 9 years, the show managed to become a fan favorite.
