Jennifer Lawrence has been in various movies and won some of the most prestigious awards for them. Her attitude towards life has always been a welcoming one and her love for those around her has always been warm to learn about. The actress has also acknowledged how she can get goofy and clumsy oftentimes. However, she isn’t one to let go of her dreams.
Celebrities may dream of something as they are growing up before they taste fame and sometimes these wishes might even come true. Tom Holland happens to be a prime example of that. Not only did he want to become Spider-Man as he was growing up, but his first crush also happened to be none other than Zendaya. Now he has manifested all of his dreams. Surprisingly enough, Lawrence too happens to be one of the people who saw their childhood dreams come true.
Jennifer Lawrence’s Toilet Wish
Jennifer Lawrence aspired to once be interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres much before she became a successful actress. While she was in her teenage years, the actress would often sit on the toilet and pretend to be interviewed by the host. This was a routine that continued for half a decade.
“‘How did you get so pretty? You’re probably the prettiest person I’ve ever seen.’ And I’d be like, ‘Oh stop, I’m definitely not the prettiest person you’ve ever seen.’”
It was a dream the actress always wished would come true. Lawrence was in awe of just how captivating DeGeneres’s show could be. Despite sometimes pretending to be interviewed by other hosts, she would always come back to Ellen because of how big of a fan she had been of hers. Lucky for her, she managed to manifest her dreams fully, and not only did she have an interview with the talk show host, but she also became neighbors with her.
Jennifer Lawrence Was Crushed After She Could Not Get Alice In Wonderland
Jennifer Lawrence revealed to her favorite talk show host that the one movie she was absolutely crushed after she could not get happened to be none other than Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. One important aspect of the movie happened to be a British accent. She had been profusely practicing the accent just so she could get the role.
“I went in and was speaking in a British accent, thinking there was no way they’d find out I was not actually British. So when I didn’t get it, it was like a failure on all sorts of fronts.”
Unfortunately, she could not get the part and took it as a failure which she was not sure she could overcome.
