Before Wednesday, Jenna Ortega began her career as a child actress and she became popular for her role as young Jane in The CW’s comedy-drama series Jane the Virgin. The last couple of years have been pretty big for the 20-year-old actress as she had sizable roles in 2022’s Scream, and X. And she also starred in 2021’s HBO Max movie, The Fallout, and 2020’s Netflix movie, The Babysitter: Killer Queen.

Fun fact – You may have also spotted Ortega back in Iron Man 3 as she played Vice President Rodriguez’s daughter. And now before her latest Netflix series, she has revealed a surprising detail about herself.

If you watched the whole video, you must have noticed the question she was asked about Maddie Ziegler. The internet wants to know whether Jenna Ortega and Maddie Ziegler are friends. And while answering the question, she revealed how she and Maddie are both weirdos in totally different ways.

Maddie is a different kind of weird than Ortega as the latter said that she used to perform autopsies on dead animals and lizards:

I’m assuming they’re talking about the beautiful wonderful baby angel face Maddie Ziegler. And the answer is yes. She’s one of my greatest friends ever. She was somebody that I instantly clicked with. We did a movie called The Fallout a couple years back. And I feel like Maddie and I are the same person in different fonts. She’s such a weirdo!

And I’m a weirdo in like the, used to perform autopsies on little animals when I was younger. Like little lizards that I found that were dead in my backyard. She’s weirdo in the sense that she breaks out into characters or movements or make faces, always comes into the perfect time. Her comedic timing is so underappreciated. She makes me laugh. We have a good time. We’re really weird together.

Ortega’s strangeness may come as a bit of a surprise, but there’s nothing to be alarmed about it. Not everyone turns out to be a Jeffrey Dahmer. A lot of kids are simply inquisitive about the biological structural makeups of animals around them, and Ortega is obviously one of them.
