With the superhero roster of the MCU growing at an astonishingly fast pace, it is becoming more and more important for the stars to be performing their absolute best, giving it their all when they put their suits on the portray the characters from the pages of Marvel Comics. And along with this, there also comes the duty to look the part of the superhero they intend to play. Thus, all the stars of the MCU have their duty to hit the gym on point.
While almost all the stars from the MCU are in the fittest shape of their lives when they are doing films, some of them obviously look a little better, be it due to genetics or that extra effort. Thus, when the star of the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Paul Rudd was preparing for his role as Scott Lang, he made sure that he could reach the level of his other Avengers co-stars in physique because he feels he lacks in the looks department compared to others.
Paul Rudd Works His Hardest For His Upcoming Film
Known as one of the sweetest and most wholesome actors in the industry, Paul Rudd has a reputation for being a friendly and merry person. But what many may not know is that he can be really competitive when he wants to be. This flame of competition was recently ignited within him when he was in the process of prepping his body to take on the Quantum Realm as Ant-Man in the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.

During an interview with Men’s Health, the star was talking about how it was harder than before to get into shape from the previous Ant-Man and The Wasp, partly because he had indulged himself a little bit more than intended into cheat meals, and also because he was gaining years on his birthdays. But when he remembered that he had friends and co-stars in the MCU who looked better than him, he took up the challenge to get the best shape he could for the movie. He said:
“I can be a hyper-focused person if I have a goal, If I’m doing one of these movies, and I know that in four months, I have to do a shirtless scene, I’m pretty dialled in. I also try and find the happy medium. I could work out hard and eat perfectly, and I’ll still look worse than most of the other Avengers.”
But after watching him in the trailers of the upcoming film, it doesn’t look like the FRIENDS star has anything to worry about in the department of looks.

What To Expect From Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania?
With the film all set to kick off the MCU’s Phase 5 and begin the Multiverse Saga, fans are excited more than ever to step into the cinemas and experience the new chapter of the franchise. And adding to that excitement, the film will also be the first film where the next big supervillain of the MCU will be properly introduced as Jonathan Majors takes on the superheroes of the MCU as Kang The Conquerer, and the first one on his list will be Ant-Man.
