Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction Almost Omited Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis is one of the most successful actors in Hollywood and has starred in several blockbuster movies and franchises. “I told him the part that would be great for him was Butch. I see him as a 1950s leading man. Read the script one more time with the idea of you playing Butch, and if you don’t respond, that’s fine.”

During a talk show, the veteran director, Quentin Tarantino shared that he wanted Bruce Willis for the role of Butch, but the actor had other plans as he wanted to play the role of either Vincent Vega or Jules. But after Die Hard read the script from Butch’s perspective, he did not need much convincing as he was more than willing to play a part in the movie.

Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a brain condition that results in changes in behavior, language, and significant communication issues. Frontotemporal dementia is brought on by decreasing of nerve cells in the brain.
