Henry Cavill, Zack Snyder, and Netflix, the three names that may seem controversial as the fans beg them to be together for crushing the DCU. As James Gunn made DC Studios infamous for removing Henry Cavill’s Superman, the fans cry for their hero to team up with a visionary director also dumped by DC Studios.
With Zack Snyder’s fans getting louder and louder, the people cry for Netflix to hire Henry Cavill so that he may become the flagbearer of the return of Zack Snyder’s Justice League on Netflix. With hopes of seeing Snyder’s work completed, the people spammed Twitter in support of the director.
Henry Cavill, Netflix, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League
In the war of monsters and men, Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder seem to have been swept aside by the higher-ups at DC Studios. What seemed to be a small campaign of releasing the Snyder Cut turned out to be a forest fire as the people spam Twitter with the newly made hashtag #SellSnyderVerseToNetflix.
With the wild idea that DC may partially sell (or lend) the rights of the Justice League characters to Netflix, the people want Zack Snyder to direct the movies if it ever came to pass. Although optimistic, the aggressive movement has turned even wilder. It has now been prophesized that Netflix will partner with Henry Cavill to be the face of the Justice League on the OTT platform. With hopes of hiring The Witcher actor, the people feel that it will embolden their movement even more if Henry Cavill.
Amidst the rumors and leaks that Henry Cavill was allegedly making a return in DC with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, the fans are even considering filing a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Discovery for “false advertisement”.
James Gunn And Zack Snyder Reacted To The Netflix Hashtag
In an interview, the new co-head of DC Studios reacted to the hashtag that is currently making rounds around the internet. In his statement, James Gunn stated that this was one of the wackiest hashtags that he has ever seen. Gunn further iterated that Zack Snyder is not interested in this and also supports Gunn in his decision.
“I have to say, this has got to be the wackiest hashtag ever.1) Netflix hasn’t expressed any such interest (although we’ve discussed other stuff) & 2) Zack hasn’t expressed any interest & seems to be happy doing what he’s doing (and, yes, we too have talked). He contacted me to express his support about my choices. He’s a great guy. Again, he seems really happy with the massive world-building he’s doing now.”
As is the case of DC, things seem confusing for fans and people around the world. It isn’t sure whether the Henry Cavill-Netflix plan is viable. If the plan was indeed somehow viable, Zack Snyder probably wouldn’t want to interfere with DC characters once again.
