Creating the 2018 masterpiece titled A Quiet Place, the film starred John Krasinski and Emily Blunt in the lead roles but the off-screen chemistry between the two was quite comedic.

In an interview with Graham Norton on The Graham Norton Show, Krasinski sat down for an interview alongside his wife to answer some questions. Stating that he had never shared the screen with his wife before, the actor revealed that during the initial days, he was quite nervous about how her on-set behavior would be.

“It was weird because I was very nervous about it, to be honest. I think we both were. Before we started shooting, she said ‘Are you nervous?’ I said ‘I’m terrified’ and she said ‘Oh, good. Me too'”

He further continued.

“I think it’s one of those things where people think because we’re both in the same business, we have the same experiences. But I’ve actually never been on set with her, seen how she worked”

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actor continued about how he had heard rumors that his wife was a total diva on set!

During his talks with Graham Norton, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan actor talked about how he had heard some rumors about his wife. Since he had never worked with her before, Krasinski dismissed the rumors and ended his talk on a sweet note.

“I’d heard she was a diva and I just can’t get Emily out of her trailer. Stuff like that. But I think what it was is and it sounds really sappy, but it’s true. I think it’s the greatest collaboration I’ve ever had in my career. I’ve never seen her work and when you’re actually in the room and she does what she does, it honestly, it changes the air in the room”

The actor indeed spoke the truth since A Quiet Place received a high rating of 7.5/10 on IMDB and 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. The 2018 movie is currently available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
