While promoting The Lost City, last year the actor was dared to answer all his questions with honesty or else one of his fans would have to suffer. Thus, with stakes this high, Radcliffe took on the challenge, and to everyone’s surprise, he delivered. When asked about his lifelong crushes, the actor brought out his list which isn’t quite long but is filled with names of gorgeous Hollywood divas. He revealed,
“Cameron Diaz is still very high on the list. Drew Barrymore is there, Juno Temple! I’ve worked with her, she’s gorgeous, and I wouldn’t mind saying her name.”
Although a bit old school, the reasons for the young lad’s infatuation with these ladies are crystal clear. Their undeniable charm and beauty continue to cast a mesmerizing spell on all who behold them, and Radcliffe was no exception. The fact was revealed many years after the franchise concluded, during its 20th-anniversary celebration. While preparing for the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter movies, Helen Carter, who portrayed the sinister Bellatrix Lestrange, stumbled upon a delightful surprise.
She discovered an old letter that the young Radcliffe had written to her years ago, in response to her request for his autograph. It said,
“Dear HBC, it was a pleasure being your costar and coaster, in the sense that I always ended up holding your coffee,–I do love you and I just wish I’d been born 10 years earlier. I might’ve been in with a chance. Lots of love and thanks for being cool.”
The heartfelt note since then won the internet over. Daniel Radcliffe indeed had an immaculate taste.
