Few people gain worldwide popularity at the age of twelve. Jenna Ortega did not only do as much but also translated her success as a child actor into what seems like a promising Hollywood career. As of 2023, she has already been featured in Netflix projects which have made her a household name while also starring in well-established franchises.
Ortega is possibly best known for her role as the lead in the Netflix TV series Wednesday (2022), for which she was nominated for both Golden Globe and SAG Awards. She has also starred in the horror franchise, Scream, and recently sported a stunning white dress at a red carpet event for the Scream VI (2023) premiere.
Fans wonder about wardrobe malfunction, Jenna Ortega responds
Ortega looked as stunning as she always does, on the screen or off it, at the Scream VI red carpet premiere on Monday. What tickled fans’ fancy was the blue ink stain on her immaculate white dress, which was designed by Olivier Rousteing.
“I wish I knew the story behind the stain,” said a social media user, to which another person replied, “I wonder what’s that blue thing.”
The young actress soon took to her social media to reply to fans’ inquisitivity.

Taking to Instagram, the Wednesday star shared pictures from the event, using hashtags “#sharpiestainwhogivesash*t” and “#imsosorryolivier”, apologizing to Rousteing for what appears to be a Sharpie marker mark on the dress. Fans reacted hilariously to the post, with some saying the blue mark was a “verified” logo for the actress.
Jenna Ortega is on a career spiral up after Wednesday
Jenna Ortega‘s “who gives a sh*t” attitude appeals to most of her young following of today, and the same is best seen in her role as Wednesday Addams in Wednesday. She has even acknowledged that she relates to the character so much that it gets difficult to get the character off her at times. Wednesday Addams sure did help her career, however. Her career is definitely on the way up, and her progress over the past few years summarizes as much for the endearing young actress.
Kick-starting her career as a child actor as young Jane in The CW comedy-drama series, Jane The Virgin (2014-2019), Ortega moved from strength to strength and did not let her career glimmer out like most child actors do. She starred in the Disney series Stuck in the Middle (2016-2018), and in movies like The Fallout (2021), Scream (2022), X (2022), striking it rich in Netflix playing roles in You (2019) and Yes Day (2021), the latter being a comedy family film. Ortega’s rich portrayal of characters and vast capacity for versatility made her an instant hit in the industry, and fans and viewers will hope the actress can make it count in years to come as well.
