She further continued that the body double had some complications. Being the producer of the film, Faris had no choice but to loudly announce that she will do the nude scene herself. Taking off her clothes and completing the shoot, Chris Pratt’s ex-wife revealed how uncomfortable she was shooting the scene especially since this was her first naked shot.

“It was my first nude scene and it wasn’t supposed to be me. I had a body double and we had some complicating factors with her. It was sort of a last minute thing, where I said, ‘I’ll just go ahead and do this.’ I was really uncomfortable. This crew that I’d been working with, that knows me when I put on my producer hat, suddenly sees me naked. It was really humiliating,”

Despite starring nude in the movie, Anna Faris felt really proud of herself as the idea of the movie was hers’ from the beginning. Talking about the iconic Playboy Mansion, Faris thought about what life after would be like for the models and that’s where the idea for The House Bunny came in.

“About three years ago I was thinking about what happens when it’s time for the next phase of life for some of these girls who have lived in the Playboy mansion and how do you sort of re-enter the real world? I pitched the character to two writers and, together, they wrote a script and together we produced it,”

The film received mixed reviews as it sat on a rating of 5.5/10 on IMDB and 43% on Rotten Tomatoes. Starring Anna Faris, Emma Stone, and Colin Hanks, The House Bunny is available to stream on Max.
