When the actress was working in Salt there were some interesting moments on the sets. For one of the scenes, she had to dress up as a man. In the movie plot, Evelyn Salt had to disguise herself from her enemies. Jolie shared that she had fun dressing up as a man, but revealed that it created some discomfort for others.
Angelina Jolie said,
“It was really weird. I think I was a bit suave. People had a very, very difficult time talking to me. [Salt director Philip Noyce] could hardly talk to me. Nobody could talk to me. It wasn’t as much what he looked like, it was when he spoke.”
When she told her then-boyfriend about her manly disguise, Pitt said that he would not be shocked by it. However, his words were far from reality as shared by Jolie,
“And Brad came to visit me once, and I said ‘You don’t want to come, I’m going to be the man.’ And he said ‘It won’t bother me, it’s you, whatever, it’s you.’ And then he came and I was changing and so I was like half woman and half man. [He was] sooo creeped out by it.”
Angelina Jolie’s film was a box office success and its worldwide gross collection was $293.5 million.
Brad Pitt was supposed to do a cameo in Salt
The Salt actress shared that she wanted her then-boyfriend and mega star to do a brief cameo in her thriller film. She shared with USA Today,
“He was almost going to be the motorcycle guy that I knocked down, and then he’d call me a bad name. But he was with the kids that day, and we couldn’t work it out.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were once considered the most iconic couple in Hollywood. The lovelorn actors were together for 12 years, however, their marriage was short-lived, which ended in two years.
