“I want to shake them and say…”: Not Even $110M Fortune Could Change Daniel Radcliffe’s On-Set Persona That Left Sandra Bullock Surprised After Expecting ‘Narcissistic’ Child Star

Not Even $110M Fortune Could Change Daniel Radcliffe’s On-Set Persona That Left Sandra Bullock Surprised After Expecting ‘Narcissistic’ Child Star

Daniel Radcliffe has garnered global attention due to his portrayal of the titular character in the Harry Potter franchise. With a grand fan following, super-star fame, and a whopping net worth of $110 million, one would highly wonder as to how he is in real life. We have often heard of celebrities who have pockets full of gold but their hearts just disappointed many.

The 34-year-old actor has worked to expand his filmography career by working in several genres after graduating from the Harry Potter franchise. That fantasy series led him to global stardom but he always remained a down-to-earth person.

“I think that there are some basic things that actors should do and not…in a way actors are the people that people tend to focus on in the film, but you don’t, you’re like the last person to arrive on set in the day, you’re one of the first people to leave. There are parts of your job that are challenging, but there are parts of everyone’s job that are challenging.”

Daniel Radcliffe further opened up about feeling infuriated when actors start showing foul attitudes on-set. He told BriefTake

“Nothing will ever drive me quite as crazy as seeing something and its subtle things, it’s not necessarily like big freakouts all time, like if I see an actor for example, like if the boom mic falls into shot in one take, or if we have to go again because focus was on the camera and you know, actors, if I see an actor getting annoyed by that I want to shake them and say ‘How many times have you screwed up a line and you made a mistake and everyone … and it’s fine, it’s not an issue.'”

He continued,

“And 90% of actors are really nice and the 10% [chuckles] tend to get a lot more attention or take up a lot more brain space, because it’s personally hard for me to be around that kind of attitude.”

It is quite a nice quality he possesses which even surprised Sandra Bullock when the duo worked together in the 2022 film, The Lost City.

Sandra Bullock is a huge name in Hollywood however she too is a fan of the Harry Potter star and thought quite differently about the actor before she met him on the set of The Lost City. She believed that the English actor would be a narcissist after starring in a $7.7 billion franchise. But the reality was otherwise.

“And to me, I don’t know, I just came to really admire and like him so much, because he was not at all what I expected him to be. I thought he’d be some narcissistic, entitled child actor who’s grown into an adult who would just come with all kinds of drama and he was nothing even close to that.”

Given that Bullock has already given her best remarks to the actor, it only added to his positive profile since his genuine personality is a testament to his work and the humble nature he carries within himself.
