The acclaimed actor has appeared in both television shows and movies, most of which have been considered remarkable by critics and fans alike. Davis has come a long way, starting from Broadway and then minor television roles to become one of the most prominent actors in Hollywood working today.

Viola Davis on Fighting Zombies
Viola Davis has played many different popular roles in movies including The Woman King or DCU’s The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker or in shows like How to Get Away With Murder, but she felt the essence of playing a character fighting zombies.
Speaking to IndieWire this week at the 48th Chaplin Award Gala, the Air actress showed her desire to act in a zombie movie. “A lot of things I haven’t done in my career. Listen, I would love to do a zombie movie,” Davis said.
“Now I say that, in shooting it, I don’t know if I can distinguish between the real and the fiction because if someone was running at me as a zombie, I don’t know. You might hear some stories. But I want a ‘Train to Busan.’ I want my version of ‘Train to Busan.’ I want to fight some zombies. That’s what I want to do,” she added.
Given her track record, Davis playing a zombie movie would conquer the genre bringing fresh and authentic emotions to the audience.

At the Gala, Viola Davis Commented on Hollywood’s Treatment of Women
While she was being honored at the 48th Annual Chaplin Gala, Davis spoke on how Hollywood treats women.

“I think they are really moving in the direction of helping children, child actors, be protected, creating an environment on the set. I know because I have to take the courses.”
