The picture was originally taken at the time when she was 7 months pregnant with her second daughter, whom she shares with Bruce Willis.
Addressing her old photograph with ABC News, she still was in “love” with it. She continued,
“I literally thought there’s no way they would ever do it. And not because I thought it was so risque or shocking and I just was so fascinated with why is it being seen as, like, obscene?”
The 1991 picture of hers became the talk of the town and garnered mixed reviews. Somewhere else, it was reported that American retailer Walmart refused to sell the 1991 magazine referring to that picture as “indecent”.
While some appreciated the bravado of the actress who wanted to do something different with her photoshoot, others thought it was hideous to look at. However, it eventually started a revolution that inspired many to accept the glory of their bare self while being pregnant.
