When was the last time you heard of a couple falling in love while pointing firearms at each other? This is what happened between Bryan Cranston and Robin Dearden. Of course, the gun was fake, but the feelings were so intense that they fell in love.
The Breaking Bad actor tied the knot with the actress on 8 July 1989 and since then the couple has been going strong. After they met the couple didn’t start dating immediately but they decided to take it slow.
Bryan Cranston remembers how he proposed to his wife Robin Dearden
Bryan Cranston is still remembered by many of his fans as Walter White from Breaking Bad. The 67-year-old actor won many hearts through the drama series. During an interview, when the Drive actor was talking about his wife Dearden, the actor recalled the unusual way he thought of proposing his wife. While talking about his wife the Godzilla actor said,
“I needed to propose but didn’t quite know how. I thought, taking a bath together we could straddle each other, but I was busy changing the music and candles. My problem was, I didn’t know where to put the ring. I decided to put it on my big toe. Then we cuddled. Then I got her to ask for the ring. She started to turn around, and I’m looking at the back of her neck and whatever happened with our positions I had to take the ring off my toe.”
The Power Rangers actor was unable to reach his toe to get the ring out of it. His wife also recalled the moment and said “It was so romantic.”
Bryan Cranston and Robin Dearden had a wild story to share from their honeymoon
When Cranston and Dearden were on their Honeymoon, the newly married couple tried to do something raunchy. When the Argo actor appeared on The Graham Norton Show, he shared a wild story from the time when he was on his Honeymoon with the actress. Cranston recalled the travel agent told them that tunnels through the Alps would take around 50 minutes. The newlyweds devised wild things in their heads and waited until it was dark. Cranston said, “We wait until it’s absolutely pitch dark, here we go! … So we are in flagrant, as they say!”
When the actor went on Conan O’Brien’s show Cranston recalled the same story and said,
“I can see her, her pretty face, and it’s great. The eyes weren’t getting used to total pitch black. What happened is we were coming to a station! Boom! Sunlight! My wife says those three words to me that every husband wants to hear: ‘Get off me!'”
Before the actor got married to the Dearden, the Baywatch actor was married to Mickey Middleton. The ex-couple tied the knot in the year 1977 and parted ways in the year 1982.
