Being one of the most famous and talked about couples in the industry hasn’t been easy on Tom Holland and Zendaya. The duo, who has been adamant about keeping their bond away from the public eye, was heavily disappointed after a paparazzi breached their privacy and took photos of them kissing each other.
They eventually did come forward to share their distaste with the acts of the paparazzi for the photos, which instantly went viral. The two also opened up about their relationship with the world and shared their reasons for keeping it behind the curtain for so long.
Tom Holland and Zendaya felt robbed of their privacy after the revelation of their relationship
After starting as friends and eventually becoming fond of each other just like their Marvel counterparts, Zendaya and Tom Holland have become one of the most beloved couples in Hollywood. However, Holland wasn’t quite happy over the revelation of their relationship to the world through a photo of them kissing in a car. The actor deemed the situation as a breach of their privacy, as they weren’t ready to share the truth with the world at the time. He said,
“We sort of felt robbed of our privacy. It’s not a conversation that I can have without her. You know, I respect her too much to say… This isn’t my story. It’s our story. And we’ll talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together,”
Following his disdain for the whole drama surrounding them, the Marvel actor also went on to explain his reasons behind keeping their personal lives private.
Tom Holland is adamant about keeping their personal lives private
Considering that the two are currently one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and are known for portraying one of the most iconic couples in the MCU, it’s reasonable why fans went into a frenzy after the revelation of their bond offscreen. However, both Tom Holland and Zendaya have been vocal about keeping their personal lives separate from show business. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star explained his reasons by stating,
“I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private because I share so much of my life with the world anyway.”
Even though the duo of Holland and Zendaya aren’t comfortable with sharing their personal lives with the rest of the world, fans will hopefully soon get to witness them together in Spider-Man’s next chapter in the MCU. And following the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, it will be interesting to witness how their stories unfold on the big screen.
