After her divorce from Tom Cruise, the actress took a break from a romantic life. After divorcing Cruise in 2001, Kidman went on to marry Keith Urban in 2006 and they have been married happily to date.
Nicole Kidman, after savagely roasting Tom Cruise once, stated that her husband Keith Urban is her “great love”. Although the gesture seemed romantic and wholesome, people allege that the statement was made just to mess with Tom Cruise by essentially calling him a lesser man. In an interview with E Online, Nicole Kidman compared herself to Hollywood heartthrobs Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and went on to appreciate her husband Keith Urban.
“With no disrespect to what I had with Tom, I’ve met my great love now. And I really did not know if that was going to happen. I wanted it, but I didn’t want it for a while, because I didn’t want to jump from one relationship to another. I had a lot of time alone, which was really, really good, because I was a child, really, when I got married. And I needed to grow up.”
Kidman is one of the few actresses who doesn’t look at her past life with regrets. After her divorce from Cruise, the actress openly stated that the relationship that they had purely started from lust.
