Quentin Tarantino Shut Down His “Go-To Guy” Samuel L Jackson After He Begged Director For a Part in Brad Pitt Movie

When it comes to iconic celebrity duos, Samuel L Jackson and Quentin Tarantino are some of the most impactful and loved ones. Out of the nine films that the director has made so far, the actor has been in six of them. Tarantino is very selective about the movies he makes and the roles he picks. Much like Christopher Nolan, a lot of the actors he works with are those he has known for quite a long time.

From Leonardo DiCaprio to Brad Pitt; Uma Thurman and even Samuel L Jackson, there is a list of people who may be his top choice when it comes to casting. However, he is not biased towards them. There have been moments when various actors wished to be a part of his films but he had a different vision in mind. One such case also happened with Jackson, who seems to be in almost every film of the director.

A movie that the actor could not be a part of was Inglorious Basterds. The movie starred Brad Pitt and Jackson wanted a role in the film. After searching for some time, he found a French man whom he could portray, and the Secret Invasion actor was even ready to learn French for it. Tarantino rejected the idea completely, stating that he preferred hiring a French actor instead.

The actor did not deny being a part of it. However, he did not admit to anything either. It is all still speculative, but it is safe to say that there is a big chance for the actor to be a major part of the movie.
