Following his exceptional performance as Star-Lord in the MCU, Chris Pratt has become one of the most recognizable names in the Superhero genre. But apart from his success in the realm of Superheroes, the actor has also garnered abundant success through his role in other blockbusters involving 2016’s Passenger and 2015’s Jurassic World.
But it seems one of the main reasons that pushed Pratt into the world of Hollywood and made him fall in love with action and comedies while growing up was the Rush Hour star, Jackie Chan.

Following his love for action and comedy, the Marvel star has expressed that he tried to combine both in the roles he is assigned. And it can be said that his formula has been pretty successful till now. He said,
“Now, I am trying to do a combination of both. I don’t know whether I like one more than the other. I like to do roles where I can fuse them both together”’
At the present, the actor is set to reprise his role as Star-Lord in the threequel of Guardians of the Galaxy. But considering that James Gunn is set to leave the MCU after the threequel, Pratt’s future in MCU is still under wraps. However, the actor has expressed that he is open to the idea of reuniting with his friend outside the realms of the MCU.

With his future in the MCU after Guardians of the Galaxy under Vol. 3 under wraps, Chris Pratt has expressed his idea to work with Gunn in the DCU. Although the actor still hasn’t been contacted for any specific role in the new DCU, the Marvel star is open to the idea of working with his great friend James Gunn again. He said.
“I don’t have anything official to announce. I haven’t spoken to James Gunn in any capacity to where he’s offered me anything like that,” Pratt told CBR. “But listen, I love the guy. You know, he’s one of my best friends. I totally believe in him. And if he calls me, I am answering.”
The fusion of humor and action in most of his roles has surely worked for the actor and has helped him to stand out in the industry. With the Guardians of the Galaxy threequel approaching its release, fans will hope that the actor will soon reunite with Gunn in his new DCU.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theatres on 5 May 2023.
