Ewan McGregor Kept On Making Lightsaber Noises During Filming
While filming the iconic franchise, Ewan McGregor had quite a fun time shooting the movie. Since the original Star Wars movies were made with not-so-great technology, the sound effects were supposed to be added later during the post-production segment of the movie.
Back in the year 1999, when George Lucas and Ewan McGregor shot the iconic movie Star Wars: Episode One -The Phantom Menace. With most of the star cast returning for the movie, McGregor starred alongside Liam Neeson and Natalie Portman, the trio had some great moments while working on the sets of the movie.
As per film trivia, Goerge Lucas did not add the lightsaber sound effects during the actual shooting of the movie. Ewan McGregor revealed that he got carried away while shooting the scenes. Recalling the hilarious incident, McGregor revealed that he mimicked the lightsaber sounds to get the feel of the scene.
“I kept getting carried away.”
The above statement was all that McGregor had to say when he was asked about the lightsaber sounds from his mouth. Suffice it to say, the sounds were added during post-production but Ewan McGregor truly seemed to enjoy his time in the franchise.
Ewan McGregor Is Begging For A Second Season of Obi-Wan Kenobi
