Actress Jennifer Garner and Batman star Ben Affleck were married for a long duration of ten years. The duo first met in 2001 on the sets of their film Pearl Harbour, but they started connected after a few years when they collaborated again in 2005. The pair dated for some months and finally tied the knot in 2005. They were among the most popular Hollywood couples of the time and had a beautiful family. However, they called it quits in 2018.

By the time Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck became parents, Affleck had become a popular name in the industry, with numerous box office hits in his name. Jennifer Garner shared that she had a difficult time raising kids with her superstar like Affleck. She recalled that paparazzi used to be everywhere and it had a bad impact on their marriage.
Yes Day actress recalled,
“For 10 years there were at the very least six cars, and often 20, outside of our house, and outside of school, and at the pediatrician’s. And you’re begging them, ‘Please step aside from the pediatrician’s door. I have a sick kid, please.’”
The Elektra actress shared that paparazzi is the cost of being a famous actor. She added that it became so ridiculous that they were causing car accidents all of the time.
Garner said,
“Anywhere that we went, it was a total circus.”
The actress also added that being famous has advantages also like she has access to people’s homes and lives, and getting to meet people who she could never imagine meeting.

Garner shared that it wasn’t easy for her and Affleck to keep a healthy relationship as a star couple. She shared,
“I think there’s something about seeing yourselves reflected in the news of some kind. And whether it’s true or not, if it’s true and you are starting to be serious with someone and (the media) start saying, ‘Well when are they gonna be engaged?’ It’s almost like you just wanna get there so that you can complete that, and then maybe it’ll die down for a second.”
Jennifer Garner explained that being in a relationship in the public eye was very difficult as she felt she had no moment of peace. She added that she would read untrue stories in tabloids about her supposedly troubled marriage, and sometimes she would start accepting it in real life. She shared that it seemed like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
