Meryl Streep Has A History Of Epic Pranks

Multiple Oscar winner Meryl Streep is legendary not just for her iconic performances but also for her wicked sense of humor. While Sandra Bullock was one actor who was at the receiving end of Streep’s caustic wit, the veteran has roasted many of her colleagues as well. One of her scapegoats was The Iron Lady director Phyllida Lloyd who received a voicemail from Streep pretending to be Margeret Thatcher herself. Lloyd who worked with Meryl Streep on Mamma Mia!, revealed,

“I was shopping in Selfridges when I first heard her speak as Margaret Thatcher. She sent me a voice note on my telephone, her first attempt at speaking. And I just sat down and thought I was listening to Margaret Thatcher.”
