During that, she was required to get a D&C, a surgical procedure where tissue is removed from the uterus. She also shared her thoughts on the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“I remember a million times thinking about it while I was pregnant.” she shared. “Thinking about the things that were happening to my body. And I had a great pregnancy. I had a very fortunate pregnancy. But every single second of my life was different. And it would occur to me sometimes: What if I was forced to do this?”

She married Maroney in October 2019 with the duo welcoming their first son, Cy in February last year. She was initially tight-mouthed to keep her son out of the spotlight as much as possible, however, she eventually revealed his name.

She shared that back in 2021 while she was expecting her son,

“Every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can.”

She also shared how she started feeling an abundance of love for babies after having her son.

“My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about.”

She opened up about how welcoming her baby eventually expanded her horizon as she stated,

“I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing.”

She talked about having a “different [motherhood experience] for everybody,” as her girlfriends shared their “scary” experiences in the beginning but it eventually helped her prepare to be forgiving. Though her first two pregnancies were tragic, she received much blessing and love for her first child with the duo keeping their personal life low-key.
