Tom Hiddleston On Expansion Of The MCU

After delivering his stunning performance in the 2013 film, Thor: The Dark World, Tom Hiddleston went on hiatus until he reprised the fan-favorite role of Loki in 2017’s, Thor: Ragnarok. During this break, MCU went under some major transformation by introducing multiple superheroes and their independent storylines, which in the end combined to create cinematic blockbuster films like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. This transformation was something that startled the Loki star, who was nothing short of amazed by the progressive storylines of new characters.

“What I’ve been amazed by is cause I had a little break from MCU for a bit while it expanded and seemed to get, the MCU seemed to get braver and the film seemed to get bigger and more ambitious and with Doctor Strange and Black Panther and the characters from Wakanda and Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. I was sort of watching from the sidelines going, ‘I’m so proud of all these actors and what they are doing.’ This is great watching with my popcorn on the opening night and it was really fun to just feel a part of it in some way.”
