Production of any form of content and entertainment is supposed to be tiresome, and the same is the case when it comes to making manga as well as anime. This tiresome process can also turn boring and monotonous when the series is stretched over to hundreds and even thousands of episodes.
Such is the case with none other than Eiichiro Oda, the genius behind One Piece, the best-selling manga series ever, and one of the longest series to ever exist with over 1100 chapters already published.
Eiichiro Oda Reveals Tiring Process Of Creating Manga
Eiichiro Oda is often called one of the best mangaka to ever live, and that is something that is evident by his constant delivery of interesting and developing One Piece chapters as well as his net worth of nearly $200 Million, which makes him the richest mangaka to ever live.
However, the above-stated fact begs the question of how Oda manages to deliver an ever-developing One Piece chapter every time consistently without it getting tiresome or boring.
Talking about the same, the mangaka in an interview said,
“The thing is, I get bored easily. So if my manga was just about the action, or comedy, or tearjerking moments, more than anybody, I would get bored. So I change up the style of the series to keep up my motivation to draw the series. The real secret? I think of the plots and scenes when I’m tired. The only way that I can think of a new idea is to think about it a lot without sleeping or eating. That’s the only way that I know, because humans can only come up with truly new ideas when they reach their limit. So every time I am done with my manuscript, I am completely exhausted.“
Eiichiro Oda essentially disclosed how the only way he is able to come up with new stories and ideas for his series regularly is because he dedicates time to thinking about the same whenever he is tired and is at his absolute limit.

Eiichiro Oda Has Faced Health Issues In The Past With One Piece
The Japanese anime industry is known to be ruthless to its workers, known for its toxic work environment and unrealistic deadlines, These issues are something that has been advocated by other known names such as Akira Toriyama, creator of the iconic Dragon Ball series.
Oda has personally faced the consequences of the above-stated facts, causing him to often have health issues, which has caused the One Piece series to go on a halt now and then.
While the mangaka has gone through problems in the past as already told above, it is very appreciated how he has managed to cross his limit just for the sake of entertaining his readers. This is one of the major reasons that he has become the most successful manga artist ever.
