Who doesn’t have a crush on Brad Pitt? But have you ever wondered on whom Brad Pitt has a crush? Once the actor admitted to having a crush on the Hit and Run co-star — you heard it right.
Dax Shepard, who rose to fame in 2003 on the Ashton Kutcher-led prank show Punk’d, has since then starred in many other shows such as Parenthood, Bless This Mess, and Netflix’s The Ranch. But most prominently, he once took the heart of Mr. & Mrs. Smith star.
And that’s not very shocking until you find they went on a date too.
Brad Pitt Confessed to his “little bit of a crush on Dax Shepard”
Once, a beautiful bromance was born in the streets of Hollywood when Ellen DeGeneres surprised Dax Shepard (The Ellen Show guest host and Brad Pitt‘s admirer) with a short message from the star himself:
“I have a little bit of a crush on Dax Shepard.”
By hearing the message Shepard just freaked out in front of the whole live telecast. That’s not all. He was (still) absolutely freaked four months later when he went on the show again and said:
“I’m not over it.”
The Zathura actor continued:
“First of all, dangerous move for you to just do as a surprise while I was guest hosting because, as I’ve learned, there’s a lot of balls in the air here. OK? You’re juggling really quickly. And, you get hit with something like that—love of your life telling you it’s not unrequited, in fact, he likes you back—that’s overwhelming. But I proceeded on and we finished the show.”
And since that momentous day, their bromance has grown. Of course, Shepard has been married to Kristen Bell since 2013 — and he loves her so much. So their date wasn’t a romantic one, but can definitely be considered a beautiful industry bromance.
Dax Shepard Went on a Pretty Woman Date with Brad Pitt
The Parenthood alum revealed later that both the stars actually went on a date that was no less than a fairy tale:
“I’m not kidding you. In Brad Pitt fashion, it was spectacular. We took a helicopter—you think I’m lying—we took a helicopter to a motorcycle track. We both love riding motorcycles. And just the two of us just took a jaunt up to this motorcycle track.”
Shepard continued:
“I felt like Pretty Woman. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.”
The dad of two gushed that he was waiting for Pitt to set that chopper down on Rodeo and for him to go wild in one of those stores with his credit card. If it had happened, it wouldn’t have surprised Shepard.
The 45-year-old continued humorously, saying they both rode up, and Pitt totally lived up to his expectations. Pitt attacked that track like his character from Troy — to Shepard, the Babylon actor looked like a true warrior on two wheels.
