Jennifer Lawrence Had A Unique Experience Filming No Hard Feelings
Jennifer Lawrence’s latest project, No Hard Feelings followed the actress getting in a relationship with a 19-year-old boy. The comedy was taken rather positively despite the unusual pairing that it presented. However, it was the ending of the film that really caught the actress by surprise.
“I felt a unique sadness when wrapping this one, because it’s so nice when you feel so confident while filming a movie,” she added. “There’s some that you shoot and you’re like, ‘Are people going to get this? I didn’t know it was going to look like that.’ Sometimes you’re pleasantly surprised, sometimes you’re not.”
Lawrence admitted that the feeling of the movie ending made her heart drop. It was this unsure feeling of whether or not she was ready to leave the set. She had a great experience while filming and was confident that it would be a massive hit. Although the feeling in the back of her mind kept bugging her. The sadness she felt was not because it won’t do good, but because it was a unique concept altogether.
Jennifer Lawrence Was Hesitant About Filming Intimate Scenes With A 21-Year-Old
Jennifer Lawrence was unsure about how good of an idea it would be to film scenes as intimate she the ones in No Hard Feelings. This was especially a matter of concern for her because her co-star was only 21 years old. Had that not been the case, things would have been much different.
“It’s really pushing the envelope and really inappropriate and raunchy.” Lawrence claimed, “After you wrap something like that you’re like are we gonna be okay?”
Seeing that the idea of the film was to accommodate that very concept, she did agree on doing them. However, she was unsure about whether or not the audience would like these scenes and how they would impact her career.
